About Kappa Alpha Omicron

The Kappa Alpha Omicron (KAO) at the University of North Florida is an honors society associated with the Interdisciplinary Environmental Association and supported by the Institute of Environmental Research and Education (IERE). The UNF Chi chapter was founded in 2020 with a founding membership of 20 members. 

Kosmos (universe), Anthropos (humanity), and Oikos (household)

the society's mission is to leverage these three perspectives in addressing today's most pressing environmental challenges
