Kate Rogers (she/her)

Hi, everyone! My name is Kate Rogers (she/her) and I’m a senior here at UNF majoring in Environmental Studies and Psychology. I love gardening, reading, baking, working at the UNF botanical gardens, and going on nature walks :) I hope to graduate in the Spring of 2025 with my ultimate career goal being to become a national park ranger. I’ve always had a deep love and connection with nature and the environment as well as a passion for plant/wildlife conservation. I’m so excited to work with all of you in the upcoming semesters and continue KAO's positive environmental work and impact! 

AJ Hutchinson

Major: Physics: Mechanical Engineering

Hi, my name is AJ and I am a member of the KAO Executive Board. I joined KAO after it was recommended to me by Ruby, I've been a part of ELP and the Environmental Sustainability LLC. I have always been outdoorsy and interested in protecting our environment, I plan on tying this into my major by designing environmentally conscious Internal Combustion Engines for modern motor vehicles.

 Amanda Slater

Hi! I’m Amanda, a Nursing, Psychology, and Public Health student, working towards a career as a Psychiatrist and Neurologist! I’m fascinated by the mind-body connection and how our environment influences our health! Being part of IERE/KAO has given me numerous opportunities to make a positive impact while exploring environmental health in greater depth!
